Snow Fun!!!

The oast several days have been warmer and sunny so we have been spending soem time outside in the snow. We headed over to church last night to play on the huge mounds of snow and sled on the hill that goes down to the soccer field. The boys both love the snow. Carter likes to climb the big mounds and make tunnels in the smaller ones. Jack likes to throw snow balls and watch them spalt on the ground. Both of them love to sled.:0) Here are some pics from last night:

Icicles hanging off of the school.....some of them are HUGE!!!

Carter "scaling" the huge mound....he likes to pretend that they're mountains.:0)

Man, I just love this sweet, little face!!!

Another sweet, little face.:0)

Daddy had to step in and help a little.:0)

Carter giving the "thumbs up" before heading down the big hill.

One last ride down the hill for Jack before we headed home for the night.

Marathon Update: all this snow has kept me inside on the treadmill for all my runs lately. I'm keeping up well with my training schedule despite what I think is plantar fascitis in my right foot. Luckily, ice and ibuprofen have made running on it bearable and it seems to slowly be getting better. Thank you so much to all of you who have supported me financially, through prayer, and words of encouragement. I greatly appreciate you all!!!

Jack Quote

While watching a "Thomas the Tank Engine" movie, Jack snuggled close to me and said, "Mommy, you're a Really Useful mommy!!!" :0)

Snowed In!!!

We are literally snowed in here in PA by about 1.5-2 feet (yes, I said FEET!!!) of snow. It's crazy.......definitely the most snow we've had since moving here. Jason attempted to plow our driveway as well as our neighbor's with her Wheel Horse snow plow to no avail. He finally gave up after an hour and came inside for nice, warm waffles.:0) I took advantage of the morning stuck inside by getting some cleaning done. Later, Jason and Carter went outside to shovel/play for a while. I don't like snow and was also afraid that Jack would fall into it and never come out, so we stayed inside.:0) Here are some pics:

The view from our front door looking across the road at our church. Church will most likely be cancelled tonight and we're working on getting the lot plowed by tomorrow morning.

A huge mound outside our back door.

Carter helping Jason shovel the snow outside of our garage.

More shoveling!!! Carter loves the snow and stayed out to play in it for quite a while.

Jack and I worked on some foam crosses.

He tried to draw with the glitter glue but had a hard time without some help form Mommy.:0)

He is very into writing his name lately so I helped him do it with glitter glue.

Then he got out his markers to draw letters and pictures.

He's doing such a great job with his name. For some reason he's having a hard time with the "C" but we're working on it!!!

I went out of town for some work training the last week of January. My wonderful mom came here to help Jason out with the boys while I was away.

These are the flowers that were waiting for me when I came home. Everyone missed me(especially Jason) which made me feel very special.:0)

My mom took Jack to the play area at the mall a couple of times while I was gone to run off some of his energy.:0)

She said that he made buddies every time they were there. I think we have another little social butterfly on our hands!!!

Mission accomplished!!!! One worn out little boy!!!

This is what boys do when Grandma is in charge!!!!

Gotta love this action shot of them falling off of the couch. I'm glad to report that no one required stiches, staples or casting while I was gone!!!:0)

More wrestling.......boys will be boys, right?!?!?

Thanks for taking such great care of my boys (all 3 of them) while I was away, Mom!!! I was able to relax and have a good time because I knew that they were in very good hands.:0) We love you very much!!!
