Jason and I got to get away together for a night. We stayed at Second Creek B & B, which is owned by my parents' good friends Jack and Pat Wilson. We had a very enjoyable dinner with Jack and Pat and were able to catch up on what has been going on with them and their family. This is the front of the B & B. It is a big, gorgeous log cabin.

On Monday night, we went to a Cardinals' game at the new Busch Stadium. This is the gorgeous view from our seats.

Carter had a great time at the game. He especially enjoyed learning how to keep score on one of the score cards that you can buy at the stadium.

G-Ma Nickelson with her two boys. :0)These are pictures from just some of the things that we did while in St. Louis. Carter got to go to work with Mom one day and a great learning experience there.
My cousin Heather, her twon daughters Taryn and Lauryn, and my Aunt Marcia were able to come to my parents' to visit us while were in town. We just ordered pizza and enjoyed catching up with each other.
Mom, Carter and I ran in the Race For the Cure on Saturday morning. It's amazing how many people run/walk the race in St. Louis......70,000, I think. I thought of my Aunt Barb as we crossed the finish line and saw survivors receiving roses as they crossed. It was 4 years last month that she lost her battle with breast cancer and me and my family miss her just as much now as we did back then. I feel blessed to be able to have participated in an event that is dedicated to finding a cure.
We also just had a lot of "down time" to enjoy with my parents. We are so blessed to have two sets of parents who love us and support us unconditionally. Our boys are blessed to have two sets of amazing grandparents who thoroughly spoil them.:0) We love you Dad & Mom!!! Thanks for a wonderful visit!!!
