Little Fishy???

Jack had his 1st swim lesson at the YMCA this morning. Since I wasn't too impressed with the lessons he got at our neighborhood pool this summer and he was quite tentative about swimming, I thought it would be a good idea for him to take lessons this winter. It was amazing how his demeanor changed as soon as we walked into the pool area. He became quiet and reserved, not the usual happy, social butterfly that he is around other kiddos. He was nervous throughout the whole lesson but did a really good job of listening to his instructor and doing what he was asked to do. Hopefully by the end of this session he will at least be comfortable with the idea of swimming by himself and maybe even have a little fun too.:0)
