Wow!!! It's hard to believe that Carter turned 11 years old today!! Where has the time gone??? He has grown from an ever-smiling, always on the go baby/toddler to a funny, kind, smart, creative, and still cute as always young man. We are so proud of him and really look forward to continuing to see where God leads him. Here's Carter's big day in pictures:

I decorated our dining room table and made him a special birthday breakfast.

Jack was up early and ready to wish his big bro and very "Happy Birthday"!!!

He was very surprised by all the decorations!!!

Mmmmm.......birthday waffles!!!

He loved the card we got him. It said, "Your birthday mission, if you wish to accept it, eat as much cake as humanly possible."......and it played the "Mission Impossible" song.....very cool!!!

Opening his birthday gift from us (his big gift was his saxophone and lessons).

Polamalu jersey!!!! Here we go Steelers.....Here we go!!!

Sporting the new jersey to wear to school.

Opening his card/gifts from G-Pa and G-Ma Nickelson. Their card played the theme from "Rocky".....also very cool!!!

Opening his new Crocs....he got lots of fun jibbitz too!!!

His new ginormous Nerf gun.....don't know quite how I feel about this one yet???

The fabulous (if I do say so myself) 4-layer cake that I made.:0)

"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you......"

Make a wish!!!

Jack wanted a turn to help Carter blow out his candles.:0)
God has BIG things in store for you, Carter, and we pray for many more birthdays to celebrate with you. We love you VERY much!!!!
