Fall Fun :0)

We had planned on waiting to get pumpkins until this weekend because they tend to go bad very quickly here in our wet weather. We had to stay home last night because Jack has been sick. We think it is probably H1N1 which has been going around our area like crazy. Fortunately, I was able to get both of the boys vaccinated a couple of weeks ago, so Jack got a very mild version of the virus. Anyway.....since we couldn't go anywhere Jason and Carter went and got us some pumpkins to carve. The weather was crummy lasy night so we set up shop in our basement and carved our pumpkins.:0)

Our adorable boys with our pumpkins.:0)

Jason cutting the "hat" off of one of the pumpkins.

Jack posing with the pumpkin that he created. This one was too hard to cut so we let him draw a face on it.

Carter scooping the "guts" out of one of the pumpkins.

Carter drawing the face on his pumpkin so that Jason could carve it the way he wanted it.

Jason carving his pumpkin.

The boys' pumpkins on one side of our porch. Carter drew the face on the white one.

Jason and I's pumpkins on the other side of the porch.

Jack posing with our pumpkins. Gotta love the galoshes!!!

The weather is a little milder here today.....still a little wet, but decent temperatures. It was a good day to do some raking. Jason and Carter did most of the work but Jack "helped" the best he could.:0)

Such a great helper!!!

Gathering all the leaves and putting them in the trash can to be dumped.
