We ordered pizza from Novotny's (our favorite) for dinner last night and just stayed home for the evening. After dinner, we went outside to enjoy the GORGEOUS weather. We bought some tomato, cucumber, zucchini, and green pepper plants earlier in the day and decided to plant them together last night.

Carter looking on as Jason gets the garden ready for our new plants.

Jack's idea of helping was playing in the watering can.:0)

Jack hleping Daddy dig up the dirt in the garden.

Carter posing with the shovel. I don't think he actually ever used it but it made for a cute pose.:0)

Our finished product. The pepper plants are up front, tomato plants behind them in the cages, and the zucchini and cuke plants are in the back.

Jack LOVES water and can be entertained for quite some time with just a bucket of water.:0)

"Is there any water left down in there?!?!"

He had to make sure to get every last drop out!!!:0)

Action shot of Carter playing kickball. We all played a game together and it kicked my behind.....no wonder I was so bad at that game when I was a kid!!!

Jack kept running after Carter trying to kick the ball. Surprise, surprise, this frustrated Carter to no end!!!

Drawing with chalk with Daddy. Jack loves for us to write out the letters and numbers for him. He has known the sounds that the letters make for quite some time now and has recently been putting them together to spell out short words. It's amazing to see him pick up on this so quickly. Carter was the complete opposite and had a very hard time learning letters/sounds/reading. He's an amazing reader now, though. It's amazing how different siblings can be. :0)
