The newest thing for kids to collect these days are these tiny, gummy/plastic animals and characters. Carter loves them and informed me this morning that he has 21 of these things. Luckily, they're cheap....$.25 out of those little machines at grocery stores. Usually he uses his money to buy them but sometimes I will surprise him and get him a few when I go to the store. Here he is posing with his gummy collection.:0)

Jack drawing with his markers at his desk this morning. You have to find plenty of things to do with yourself when you wake up as early as Jack does.:0)

Well, the people of Oakmont are going to start wondering if they have new neighbors because we are obsessed not only with The Oakmont Bakery but with Oakmont itself. It is such a neat little area of Pittsburgh and we REALLY enjoy going down there for a change of scenery. We, of course, had to stop by the bakery while we were down there and get some treats. Jack got his yummy (free) cookie, Jason got a chocolate eclair and maple iced cinnamon roll, I got an apricot danish and cup of coffee, and we brought home a cookie sandwich for Carter. Everything was delicious, as usual.:0) We had a semi celebrity siting while we were in line at the bakery. We both recognized him as a former "Survivor" contestant but neither one of us had a clue what his name was. I looked it up and found out that he was Chet from Season 16: Fans vs. Favorites. He didn't do so great on the show and came out looking like a bit of a wimp so I felt weird saying anything to him or taking his picture. After we were done at the bakery, we went for a walk along the train tracks and up into the neighborhoods of Oakmont. It was a gorgeous morning for a walk.:0)

Jason's eclair and cinnamon roll and my apricot danish. YUMMMM!!!

What to do while you wait for Mommy and Daddy to finish their treats and coffee.:0)

When we crossed over the train tracks Jack kept putting his hand over his mouth and saying, "OOOHH, wook at that big train track!!!". He's so dramatic about everything (just like his older brother and Daddy!!!)

Jason showed Jack how to throw "helicopters" up into the air and watch them twirl down. Of course, Jack thought this was great.:0)

Jack is obsessed with street signs so he thought it was so cool that Daddy could lift him up so that he could touch one.:0)

Walking down the big hill back to the car.

Jack got pooped out from all the walking so Daddy gave him a lift. Daddy's are great!!!:0)
