Anyway, when we were back in St. Louis, we visited the Missouri Botanical Gardens to see their Christmas train display. Each year is a different theme...this year was "Lodges In Vermont". They had miniature lodges (hence the name) and cabins set up in mountain scenes with snow all around. There was a ski lodge with skiers coming down the mountain, one of which was Santa Clause.:0) Carter loved it because he is very into HO trains right now. Jack enjoyed it for 5-10 minutes and then he discovered that he couldn't play with or ride the trains. That's when he decided it was time to go. We sat outside the display room and he ate his snack while the others looked around.

After the train display, we went outside where the gardens are located. All of them are bare, of course, with it being winter but we headed over to the Climatron. It is a big dome-shaped building that is warm and humid inside to house tropical plants and trees. There are all kinds of waterfalls (which Jack loved) and beautiful flowers. We all enjoyed walking through the Climatron (especially because it was so warm!!). Then it was getting to be lunch-time, so we left. I would love to take the boys back there when the gardens are in full bloom because it is absolutely gorgeous!!

I wanted to end this post with a Jack quote. He is constantly saying hilarious things now....we laugh so much in our house!!! It's just so funny to listen to little ones and hear what they're thinking. Jack has been saying our blessing before meals and this was his prayer this morning:
"Dear God, thank you for this food....and this table.....and that refrigerator......and pictures.....and sheeps.....and all the others.....In Jesus' name, Amen."
I'm guessing by "sheeps" he is referring to his stuffed sheep, Baa. "The Others" are probably his other "buddies" that he sleeps with. Too funny!!!!:0)
