We went out to eat at Olive Garden last night (gift cards from Christmas.....nothing like a free meal!!!). Pretty much the instant we sat down in the booth Jack was continually asking for "chicken and french fries", his out-to-eat meal of choice. No matter how many times I tried to explain that we had to order his food and then they had to cook it, he still kept asking and fussing about his food. I spent to 15-20 minutes before his food got to the table telling him to quiet down and sit still and eventually had to resort to threatening to take him to the restroom where he would receive a swat.
Later at home when the boys were in bed, Jason told me something that had me laughing so hard. Apparently there was a young couple sitting behind me and Jack at the restaurant who were sitting with their fingers entwined throughout dinner, making googly eyes at each other, and enjoying glasses of wine. Jason said that he kept looking back at them thinking, "You fools!! Get out while you can!! Before you know it you'll be like my crazy wife yelling at your misbehaving kids!! LOL!!!
