New Interests

Jack has developed a couple of new interests in the past couple of weeks. One is "Thomas the Tank Engine" videos. We still have a ton of them from when Carter was obsessed with trains and that is all Jack wants to watch during his "TV time". He got a train table for Christmas but still hasn't gotten nearly as into palying with it as Carter always was. It's so amazing how different they are. At Jack's age, Carter LOVED anything with trains and the only toys he played with were his trains and train tracks.

Watching "Thomas" with Baa and Daddy (that's Daddy's arm on the back of the couch). Jack even chose to wear his Thomas shirt that day.:0)

Jack also discovered "little" LEGOS the other day. We were down in the basement and he got into some of Carter's LEGO boxes. He loves putting them together to make towers but unfortunately can't quite get them apart by himself yet. He comes running to me anytime he wants them separated. I got out our container of Duplo blocks which are bigger and he likes to make towers with these as well.

Carter has his last Upward game on Saturday and his awards night on Sunday. I'm excited because his game is at 4pm which means that all of us will be able to go watch it. I'll post about it all after the weekend.
