Since we live on a rural road with the houses spread apart, we took the boys to our friends, the Yurisics, to go trick-or-treating last night. They live in the little town, Saxonburg, which is just a few mintues from our house. Their street has just enough houses to get a good amount of candy but not too many to be overwhelming. This is the only (decent) picture we got of the boys together (Jack is less than cooperative!!). Jack didn't quite know what to think of Carter as Darth Vader.
We got a group picture of the kids we trick-or-treated with. Most of them are sixth graders at our school. As you can see, someone had the bright idea of giving Jack a light saber.:0) He loved it!!
Most of the night, Daddy had the pleasure of escorting Jack to each door while I took pictures. Jack would walk up to a house, say "Trick or Treat" and then receive his candy. As soon as the candy hit his bucket, he would say "We go a udder house now" (translation: "We go to another house now"). He certainly caught on to the whole idea!!
