Christmas Eve

We had a great day today, enjoying time with my parents. We went to King's for breakfast which has become somewhat of a tradition for us.

Not the greatest family picture but with Jack's dislike of having pictures taken, we settle for anything.:0)

The rest of the day, we relaxed and played with the boys. Jack had an especially good time playing catch with Grandma Nickelson. Any time either one of them would catch the ball, they would dance around, which Jack thought was hilarious.

Grandma and Carter played some "Clue" while Grandpa took a snooze on the couch.:0)

We went to the 7pm Christmas Eve service at church. The church was packed and the hymns sounded so beautiful with all those people singing them.:0) I love the Christmas Eve candle light
service.....it reminds me of what Bethlehem might have been like the night Jesus was born with the stars shining down bright on the manger.

We took lots of pictures of all of us dressed up. You will notice that Jack is either crying, looking away, or not smiling on ALL of the pictures......pretty much how it goes with Jack and pictures!!

We pray that you all have a blessed Christmas Eve and take the time to reflect on that tiny baby, born this night so many years ago to be our Savior.
